Bee Happy Backyard Blooms is located in Middleton, New Hampshire. Its just the two of us. I (Ashley) do all the things growing and flower related. While my partner Shaun is the brains and muscle behind all the infrastructure and larger projects around our tiny farm.

Bee Happy Backyard Blooms started in 2022 out of a passion to grow flowers in unity with mother earth and to share the joy they bring with others. Hi there, I'm Ashley and I am a first generation farmer who fell in love with nurturing plants in my early 20's with my first strawberry plant (in a pot on my apartment balcony). Over a decade later I discovered my calling to flowers and their benefits to people and pollinators alike. In addition to growing many gardens over the years, I have also worked on organic vegetable and flower farms.

Shaun and I (mostly Shaun) have built all the farm infrastructure ourselves over the past four years. We are passionate about sharing flowers and our maple syrup with our community. We enjoy the processes of making compost, caring for our laying hens, building strong and beautiful buildings (the farm stand, chicken coop, high tunnel, sugar house, sawmill structure and more), making Maple syrup and sawing local lumber. We do all these things with sustainability in mind. Often we are able to incorporate bi-products from one process into another process. For example dead trees in the sugarbush are used as firewood for our home or boiling sap into syrup. The chickens bedding, grass clippings and leaves all go into the compost to break down and then give vital nutrients to help make healthy plants.
